Have 2 of these to do for a friend....log cabin block made from old ties. The block will be the center of a pillow- the rest is from recycled jeans.
How funny! This thread fell into this beautiful "L" on the floor...had to take a picture!
What I sewed today....this is an awesome piece of bark-cloth!
Latest purse- will call the the "Jody" because my friend Jody brought me a purse she had bought and wanted me to replicate the style. I would really like to know where to get some nicer zippers- the ones from the fabric stores are just too plain for this! anyone have any ideas?
Just finished this yesterday after finding the perfect vintage button for it! Outside pocket from a vintage tablecloth piece- not much left of this one. A customer suggested outside pockets so I designed this. There are 3 pockets inside, too.
My latest "Equine" creation- my little sis on her horse. But- why can't I take a clear picture???? I don't know what I'm doing wrong!!!! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
My latest bag- large one for cousin Anna who just graduated from UW Madison and has a birthday on May 25- my birthday, too.
Need I say more? This is a bit putzy: cutting, fusing over and over, but have to do it! It's a rainy day so iIm happy to be doing this.
The latest purse- had just enough scrap left from this tablecloth to make a nice size purse/tote. It's perfect for Spring!
I have 2 of these to make for my friend Sharon- her two younger boys get them- Bryce and Wyatt....these are fun to make!
These are going to their new homes tomorrow-the centers of each block are pieces from pajamas from a woman who passed. I sure hope the caregivers who are getting these like them! They left fabric choices up to me- always a little nerve-wracking! Go to my Flickr to see the others.
Here's the inside- with the coin section...keeps those coins form spilling al over.
Finally tried this wallet from Sew Christine...it went together really well and I think my daughter will like it- she loves mushrooms!
