Summer Catch-Up

Things I made in May:

Mini Sunflower quilt to help raise money for Ukraine

A small pillow with alligators on it for a dear friend who hates alligators

Sailboat themed pillow

3-inch teeny quilts using scraps- just for fun!

Odd sized teeny quilts from scraps- I love teeny!

Another mini sunflower quilts using leftovers from the Ukraine Sunflower quilt

Fabric postcards for an exchange with other SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Association) members that attended the 2022 Conference

                                             Things I made in June:

These are all the fabric postcards I made for the exchange I mentioned above- all made using scraps I have on hand and there are enough scraps to last several more lifetimes!

Memorial quilt made with the clothing of a woman who passed away. A keepsake for her daughter.

                                        Things I made in July:

A scrappy panel and some other goodies for an exchange

Finally finished my Siddi quilt that was started during the pandemic- a wonderful on-line class by Sujata Shah- her IG is @therootconnection

A new embroidery start

Got Covid- tested negative on day 7

Made this Lone Star in the 90's- a UFO that needs finishing! I'm trying to figure out how to make it fit my bed

Rebound case of Covid- 3 days after I tested negative the first time...not fun!

                                                Things I made in August:

Finally tested negative after 16 days from the first positive test!

Started another embroidery project- Crabapple Hill Winter Wonderland- adjusting it to fit my quilt rack.

And another start- a crewel piece- something new to me!
