Almost May!!

Boy! I have been very lazy about posting here! It's very busy getting ready for the Carriage Classic and I haven't been doing any sewing which is making me very crabby! I need to make a schedule!!!! I need to re-visit "Time Management from the Inside Out" by Julie Morgenstern. I love that book! It really helps you focus and get your schedule just where you need it for you.

I've been having so much fun with my Flickr groups, too! it's so nice to have these little families-so supportive and so creative!

Hope everyone is getting ready for Spring!!!!

This is a quilt I made for Claire- on e of my children's best friends. She's in college. We went shopping for the fabric together- it was so much fun!

My Label

This is my label. A friend drew the thimble from one in my collection. I love red and I collect thimbles-thus the name.

art pins/valentines

I made these last year for the Valentines Day sale. Some of the pins are vintage fabric, some are new. The heart is a piece of vintage hanky. I love making things with the little scraps I just can't throw away.

UGH!! I'm sick

Have had the crud for a week-went to the doc and she says I have Croup!!! Can you believe it??? At my age? Who knew adults could get that! I also suspect I have a sinus infection...the worst thing is I have no energy to create anything right now! Bummer! I do not like being sick!

This was custom made for a friend. The yellow flowered fabric is from a vintage tablecloth. Not your usual diaper bag!

Here are 3 pillows I made using some vintage items. One is from a hanky, one a piece of a tablecloth and another "Scotty" hanky is in the center of the third.
