Inspired by Poppy Dodge Art- used up some scraps to make this small quilt aand gifted it to her
Got my Guatemalan top finished. I'm still wondering how I want to quilt it. Also still plugging away on the crewel piece for my friend.
Had fun at the end of January at Quilt Retreat! So good to get together with quilting friends in person again!
Took a girlfriend trip to the Keys- love old boats! Mid-February I took a class with Pat Bishop called Abstract Architecture and decided to use my old boat pic. A new method to me and I loved it!
Small 12" x 12" piece called Prairie Spring...entered in Curated Quilts mini challenge- Linear...wish me luck!
I've had that center piece of vintage embroidery for years- making a kitchen quilt for my newly painted cabinets- in red!!! Stuck at this point for now. I just love those little muffin head people.
